As the latest partner of the annual Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) awards, the company’s Managing Director, Angela List, has hinted that Adamus Resources will support the event every year. She indicated that this was in line with the company’s corporate vision.
She also assured continued support for community empowerment projects in sports and education at the event, where over 40 awards were presented.
“A nation that does not honour its heroes is not worth dying for. It is a great honor for Adamus Resources to partner with SWAG on this award, which celebrates the hard work of members of our sports community. We say Ayekoo to our deserving sportsmen and women who, against all odds, continue to excel and lift Ghana’s flag.” She said.
Ms. List praised SWAG's consistency in holding the awards ceremony. She urged Ghanaians to support the nation's athletes, especially as funding remains a major challenge, particularly for athletes in lesser-known sports.
